I started this blog in 2018 to post photos and progress on my 4200km through hike on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) from April 21st to September 2018.

After 12 years career in a corporate, it was time for a break and fulfill one of my lifelong dreams.

I was not leaving unprepared on this 5-6 months journey. I started longer hikes with the 150km West Highland Way (WHW) in March 2016, followed by the 400km John Muir Trail (JMT) in July 2016. In July 2017, hiking the 440km Kungsleden in North Sweden was the last preparation step.

The freedom in nature, the self-determination, purity and simplicity I experienced during these hikes is what is calling me.
